The place where bacteria are most likely to grow in car air conditioning is the air conditioning duct. If the air conditioning duct is blocked by dust, the most direct impact is a decrease in the cooling capacity of the car air conditioning. So how to clean the car air conditioning? What are the methods and techniques for cleaning car air conditioners?
1、 Cleaning car air conditioning with air conditioning cleaner:
A typical car air conditioner has a pollen filter at the air inlet to prevent external dust from entering during external circulation. When cleaning the air conditioner, remove the pollen filter, inject the air conditioner foam cleaner from the air inlet, and close the air conditioner outlet to prevent the foam cleaner from flowing out of the air outlet.
Then, start the car, turn on the air conditioner, and let the foam cleaner circulate internally in the air conditioning system. This step should last for several minutes to ensure that the foam cleaner circulates to all channels of the air conditioning system. About 5 minutes later, turn off the air conditioning and turn off the car. Soon, dirt will flow out of the air conditioning system located on the chassis. This cleaning method is suitable for car air conditioning when it is not particularly dirty.
2、 Disassembling and cleaning car air conditioning:
Another air conditioning cleaning method is disassembly and cleaning, which is much more troublesome than the first method. Firstly, you need to disassemble the dashboard and take out the evaporator of the air conditioning. The air conditioning evaporator that has not been cleaned for a long time must be covered with dust, so it needs to be carefully cleaned with a brush. After washing, reinstall the air conditioner and use the first method to clean it.
