The automobile air-conditioning industry is the fastest-growing, largest-scale and best-possible industry in Longquan. The high-tech enterprises on the automobile air-conditioning regulations account for 34.4% of the industrial enterprises in the city, and the small and medium-sized enterprises of automobile air-conditioning technology account for 53.5% of the city's technology-based enterprises. Longquan has been awarded the title of “China Automobile Air Conditioning Parts Manufacturing Base”, “National Torch Longquan Automobile Air Conditioning Characteristic Industrial Base” and “Zhejiang Automobile Air Conditioning Parts Export Base”, and Longquan Automobile Air Conditioning Industry Innovation Service Complex was listed in Zhejiang Province. The list of batches of industrial innovation service complexes was listed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in the list of pilot projects for the “double innovation” platform of the manufacturing industry. The comprehensive automobile air-conditioning testing center obtained the national CNAS certification and became the only third-party testing agency for automobile air-conditioning in China.

With the rapid development of the automobile air-conditioning industry, the industry has gradually presented the problem of low standardization production level in terms of complete machine support and integration with the international market. In recent years, Longquan City's automotive air-conditioning industry authorities, industry associations and service platforms have carried out a lot of work in standardization work. At present, 73 quality standards for automotive air-conditioning products have been collected and confirmed at home and abroad, and two provincial-level block industry standardization priorities have been implemented. The project has compiled four industry alliance standards such as "Aluminum Pipe and Assembly for Automotive Air Conditioning".

It is understood that the most basic draft of the automotive air conditioner evaporator and condenser is the Longquan City Alliance Standard formulated by the Longquan City Air Conditioning Auto Parts Industry Association in 2010. In 2016, the Zhejiang Automobile Auto Air Conditioning Standardization Technical Committee organized the revision of the Union Standard for Evaporators and Condensers for Automotive Air Conditioning. Evaporators and condensers are key components of automotive air conditioners. At present, there are no national and industry standards in China. After the completion of the formulation, they will fill the domestic gap.

The Automotive Automobile Air Conditioning Committee of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the National Automobile Standardization Technical Committee Body Subcommittee, the relevant person in charge of the Zhejiang Automotive Air Conditioning Standardization Technical Committee, and experts from relevant colleges and universities across the country attended the meeting.
